Carla develops and manages Sustainability's engagement and "take action" programs, and experiential learning opportunities. She leads a student team to help achieve the University’s sustainability goals through outreach, education, and engagement programs, including collaborative efforts with other university units.

Carla uses her background in high impact practices to provide transformative learning and leadership experiences for UC Davis students, and also supervises The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) Grant Program Manager.
